No Man’s Sky: Here’s how to easily earn Extreme Survival Milestones and 2 PS4 Trophies

No Man’s Sky has a series of Milestones within it, and most are tied to PS4 Trophies.

One Milestone branch is Extreme Survival, and tasks you to survive a set number of Sols in extreme conditions.

We’ve found that you can earn time for this Milestone without having to stand around in extreme conditions, constantly fuelling your Exosuit’s Hazard Protection system. Rather, you can land on an extreme planet, find a shelter and then bunker down. Your time in the shelter counts toward the Milestone. If you choose to wait it out — or hang out in the shelter while you’re doing something else entirely — be mindful you will still need to top up your suit’s Life Support system.

This tactic will help you get two PS4 Trophies: “Stranger in a Strange Land”, which unlocks at the ‘Robust’ Milestone, and “The Sentinel”, which unlocks at the ‘Everlasting’ Milestone.

Enjoy!
