No Man’s Sky cross-play support available, also via Xbox Game Pass

No Man’s Sky cross-play support has been enabled in-game between Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4, coinciding with the game’s availability on Windows PC and Xbox One via Xbox Game Pass.

“A tremendous amount of work has gone into this update and the underlying technology and systems. We’ve moved to an entirely new networking architecture, with more flexibility for the future, allowing players to play together regardless of platform,” Sean Murray, founder of Hello Games, wrote in a new blog post.

“I’m very proud of the team that has worked so hard to make this happen.”

While we enjoyed No Man’s Sky, we weren’t a fan of its random-numbered Achievements. Check out our original review here.
