No Man’s Sky can keep its name after three-year legal battle

Hello Games’ Sean Murray took to Twitter over the weekend to announce he’d won a legal battle with Sky TV over the name “Sky”.

The victory means the highly anticipated space exploration game can be released under the name we’ve all come to know.

As Murray stated, Sky TV won a previous legal battle, prompting Microsoft’s SkyDrive cloud-based filing service to rename itself OneDrive.

No Man’s One Sky heads to Windows PC and PS4 on 9 August.
