No Man’s Sky: Alien behaviour detailed

Hello Games’ Sean Murray took to the PlayStation Blogcast to discuss alien races within No Man Sky.

Alien NPCs will speak their own languages; you’ll have to learn those first in order to understand a race. Increased interaction with said aliens place you in better standing with that race, though it’s possible to lose favour with a race if you treat them poorly.

As your standing with a race increases, it will offer you additional options like trading and ship and weapon purchases. Some races will even gift you items for free if they really like you.

Each race can have a different specialisation — some are military-minded, others gravitate towards science and so on.

No Man’s Sky will be available from 22 June on Windows PC and PS4.
