Nintendo’s eShop soon to be accessible on PCs and mobile devices

Nintendo’s Business Development Manager Dan Adelman recently confirmed that Nintendo fans will soon be able to purchase eShop games using a PC or mobile device, mirroring similar functionality on Microsoft’s and Sony’s own storefronts.

Speaking to Joystiq, Adelman said that gamers will be able to “log onto the site and set [eShop purchases] up for download so that once they get home, it’ll be available for them and they can have that at their fingertips whenever they need it.”

Adelman didn’t confirm a timeframe for the functionality, but a translated NicoNico report says we should expect to use the system later in the year.
