Nintendo trademarking Star Fox, F-Zero, Sin & Punishment

Ahead of E3 2018, Nintendo is trademarking terms such as Star Fox, F-Zero, Sin & Punishment and more.

The news comes by way of the Twitter TrademarkBot (via Resetera), which has discovered trademark applications by Nintendo regarding the following:

  • Star Fox
  • F-Zero
  • Sin & Punishment
  • The Legendary Starfy
  • Flipnote Studio
  • Art Style
  • Yoshi’s Island
  • Pikmin
  • [Super Smash Bros. logo]

Nintendo has already confirmed it is focusing on Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch at this year’s E3, so these applications may simply be refreshing existing applications.

We’ll, of course, let you know if more is revealed.

What do you make of the above applications?
