Nintendo Switch folder support enabled through Groups

Rejoice!

Nintendo Switch fans can finally organise their games and apps into folders using the device’s new Groups feature.

The ability to group apps, which gained instantly popularity on mobile devices, has a very Nintendo-like implementation.

First, Nintendo has advised that the “All Software menu and groups are only available when more than 12 software titles are saved on the Nintendo Switch system,” and that players can have a maximum of 100 groups with 200 apps in each. A title can, however, be added into multiple groups.

To use Groups, you’ll need software update 14.0.0 or later. With at least 12 apps on your Switch, you’ll need to first access the All Software title and then hit the L button to view and begin sorting apps into Groups.

What do you make of this new Nintendo Switch Groups feature?
