Nintendo Network now allows for two-factor authentication

The Nintendo Network now allows for two-factor authentication for all accounts.

To enable, simple head to the Nintendo Network portal and then to Sign-in and security settings. At the bottom of that section is the option to enable two-factor authentication.

As with Microsoft’s two-factor authentication, an app like the Google Authenticator (iOS, Android) can then be used to synchronise with account. It provides an ever-changing, six-digit passcode that must be entered alongside your username and password when next logging in.

The Nintendo Network is the online portal for both the Nintendo Switch and 3DS.

Will you enable two-factor authentication on your Nintendo Network account? Why or why not?
