Nintendo was making a horror game starring Tingle

Nintendo was making a horror game starring The Legend of Zelda‘s Tingle, the publisher recently confirmed.

Nintendo’s Kensuke Tanabe told Kotaku the game was in production but has since been cancelled.

“Looking back eight years ago, we were developing a horror game with Vanpool that starred Tingle as the main character,” Tanabe said, “but that project was canceled due to a variety of reasons.”

Sadly, that’s about all Tanabe said of the project.

Tingle made his debut inside The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask and has since starred in two of his own Nintendo DS titles (though they’re hard to find outside of Japan).

Would you play a horror game starring Tingle?
