NHL 19 Original Six Adidas jerseys added to HUT, more

NHL 19 Original Six Adidas jerseys have been added in-game as part of a partnership between Adidas and EA.

For those unaware, the term Original Six applies to the NHL’s first six teams — the Detroit Red Wings, Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Rangers, Chicago Blackhawks and Montreal Canadiens.

“Methodically created to honor the Original Six NHL teams, these designs are fashioned with the history of each city in mind,” EA wrote. “The Digital 6 jerseys will be available first in Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT) on November 5 before coming to more modes on November 19.”

All players will be able to get one of the Original Six jerseys by entering HUT mode and redeeming a special pack, while the remaining jerseys will have to be obtained through additional, paid packs (via in-game progress or straight up microtransactions)

NHL 19 is available now on Xbox One and PS4.
