Next PS5 showcase scheduled for 17 September in Australia

The next PS5 showcase has been scheduled for 17 September here in Australia, Sony has today confirmed.

According to the PlayStation Blog, the event will “give you one more look at some of the great games coming to PS5 at launch (and beyond!). It will “feature updates on the latest titles from Worldwide Studios and our world-class development partners”… but that said, we’d laugh if it didn’t provide information about PS5 pre-orders, a release date or price.

Aussies can expect the stream from 6.00 am AEST on 17 September (or 1.00 pm PDT on 16 September). The event will be broadcast on Twitch and YouTube — the latter of which is available to watch below.
