Newest Xbox One dashboard heads to all today

The newest Xbox One dashboard will head to all users from today, Microsoft today confirmed.

This latest UI change — and yeah, there have been a lot in the last little while — is horizontal rather than vertical and promises faster response times than the current dashboard.

Microsoft is also pushing the concept of “content blocks” with this latest dash iteration, offering further details alongside some end-user customisation. A new Tournaments section will also become available if you’re feeling competitive.

All this and ads; there are always ads.

The update is scheduled to roll out to all users from today, so keep an eye out for updates. It’s been in beta since August 2017, so hopefully all its bugs are ironed out.

Next up is the Xbox One X, Microsoft’s powerhouse 4K console, available in early November.
