New Xbox update adds Achievements to mobile and more

We're no longer in the dark.

A new Xbox update has added — or make that ‘re-added’ — Achievements back to the Xbox mobile app amongst a host of other features.

Available to select users since March 2021, this new update will ensure that all Xbox mobile app users will be able to check both their own Achievement progress alongside that of others. It’s a feature we’ve been missing since the launch of the Xbox Series S & X back in November 2020.

The new update also provides improvements for Xbox One and Xbox Series S & X consoles, now showing you the Xbox Game Pass titles your friends are currently playing.

Finally, the update will let users suspend current games to include new game download speeds and also will provide better recommendations for new games to play based on what you’ve already enjoyed.

The new Xbox update should be rolling out now.
