New Xbox One wireless controller connects to PC via Bluetooth, Wifi direct without dongle

Microsoft has detailed its new Xbox One wireless controller, confirming that it supports Bluetooth and Wifi direct.

The two protocols mean the controller can connect to Windows PC without the need for a USB cable or a wireless connection dongle.

The controller ships with the new Xbox One Slim, but can be sold separately. The new controllers will be part of the build-your-own Xbox Design Lab, though the scheme is currently unavailable in Australia.

Thanks, Beau.
