New Xbox Live Avatars leaked in new video

Microsoft’s new Xbox Live Avatar system has been leaked in a new video ahead of a proper reveal.

The video was pulled, but not before it was captured by The Verge. You can watch it below.

As you can see from the above video, everything’s been revamped from the expressions of the Avatars themselves to the UI involved in designing one. The video also shows off a number of customisation options available to users.

The new Avatars are currently in testing by Xbox and Windows 10 PC Insiders, and were expected to launch alongside the Xbox One X last year. A proper release date has not yet been made available to us regular users. Last month, it was suggested we’d be seeing the new Avatars right about now.

We’ll keep you informed as we learn more. In the meantime, what do you think of the new Avatars?
