New Switch peripherals will be shown off next week

Nintendo has promised “a new experience for Nintendo Switch” to be revealed next week. As a teaser today, we’ve been treated to a two-minute video that’s pretty crazy.

The video, below, showcases groups of friends and family in different regions of the world, each using two new Switch peripherals — a hula hoop-style control interface that houses a Joy-Con alongside a velcro band that straps a Joy-Con to your leg. The video shows players taking part in activities that resemble yoga, race car driving, paddling a canoe and more.

As to what this is? Well, your guesses are as good as ours for the time being. Thankfully, we only need to wait until 9 September to find out what’s going on.

In the meantime, what do you this is? Switch Fit? A sequel to 1-2 Switch? Let us know your thoughts in the comments area below.
