New Resident Evil 2 screenshots show off new Orphanage area

Capcom has today teased the existence of the Orphanage, an entirely new area inside the upcoming Resident Evil 2.

“Raccoon City is larger than you may remember it to be,” the Resident Evil Twitter account today tweeted. “Explore the Orphanage, a brand new area,” it continued, showing an image from the area at the same time.

Capcom then made available a host of new screenshots from the upcoming game, and several of which appear to show Sherry Birkin inside the new location. The screens also show off a bunch more, including a look at Ada Wong’s signature red dress, Robert Kendo, the RPD S.T.A.R.S. office, Leon after presumably being shot by Annette Birkin and several looks at Mr. X and other G-virus creatures. You can view the screenshots below.

Resident Evil 2 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 25 January 2019. We previewed the game earlier this morning and also showed off a ton of gameplay from our recent time with it.
