A new Last of Us Part 2 trailer dropped overnight

Update: The trailer was a story-based one; it’s below.

Original story: A new The Last of Us Part 2 trailer drops at midnight tonight ahead of the game’s new June 2020 release date.

As developer Naughty Dog has been particularly impacted by story leaks of late, we’d wager the trailer won’t be too spoilerific but will instead serve to offer up insurmountable levels of hype. Time will tell, eh?

The trailer is set to debut at 7.00 am PT, or 12.00am AEST here down under. Naughty Dog announced the trailer drop with a short teaser featuring both Ellie and Joel — you can check that out below.

We’ll do our best to embed the trailer in this post as soon as it drops; no guarantees, though — self-isolation life means afternoon wines and naps.

The Last of Us Part 2 will now release exclusively on PS4 from 19 June.
