New Far Cry game to be revealed at The Game Awards

A new Far Cry game will be revealed at The Game Awards, and from what Ubisoft’s shown us, it looks to be a direct sequel to Far Cry 5.

Spoilers for Far Cry 5 follow.

If you’ve played through Far Cry 5, you’ll know it ends with a bang — literally. A nuclear one, to be more specific. That’s basically where Ubisoft’s new teaser trailer starts off. The video looks to show Hope County as a nuke goes off in the distance, mimicing Far Cry 5‘s crazy ending. You can watch the trailer below.

Ubisoft says the game teased by the trailer will be detailed at The Game Awards — they take place tomorrow, so we don’t have long to wait for more.

Are you excited about this potential Far Cry 5 sequel?
