NBA 2K22 gameplay reveal comes early after leak

An NBA 2K22 gameplay reveal has come early, with a leak prompting 2K to publish an official trailer ahead of plan.

You can check out the gameplay trailer below, currently available via the NBA 2K YouTube channel.

As far as what’s changed? We’ve summarised the big points below:

  • Defence AI improvements: Including a rebuilt shot contest system, blocking systems, updates to defensive rotations and more.
  • Dribbling: Including a faster overall pace and tighter controls.
  • Post play: With more emphasis on Shot IQ and a new shot meter that expands when players take high-quality shots.
  • Finishing: Including an all-new Dunk Style Creator.
  • Builds, badges and takeover: With Takeover Perks on current-gen systems.

NBA 2K22 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch on 10 September.
