Native Twitch streaming to return to Xbox

And is already avaialble to Xbox Alpha Skip-Ahead Insiders.

Native Twitch streaming is set to return to Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, with the functionality already in trial for Alpha Skip-Ahead Insiders.

Twitch functionality — removed around the same time Microsoft made its own push into livestreaming with the (now defunct) Mixer — will once again be available under the Capture and Share tab when released.

Players will be able to go live and broadcast their gameplay using their consoles; the broadcast will pause when players move between apps or head back to the Xbox Home screen.

The same Alpha Skip-Ahead Insider update also contains the ability to use Xbox Cloud Streaming on Xbox One, thereby offering players the chance to play current-gen titles on their last-gen box.

We’ll let you know when this update heads to the Xbox userbase at large.
