Nathan Fillion teases Uncharted appearance (of some sort)

The internet is abuzz as Nathan Fillion teases an Uncharted appearance of some sort.

Fillion, best known for roles on Firefly, Castle and the voice of Cayde-6 in Destiny and Destiny 2 (at least, for now), took to Instagram with two unmistakable teases.

First, a picture of Drake and a quote that reads, “Sic Parvis Magna.” That quote is Latin, and a motto of Sir Francis Drake, heavily featured in Uncharted. While the picture of Drake may refer to Sir Francis himself, it’s likely meant to reference Uncharted‘s protagonist (and Sir Francis’ ancestor), Nathan Drake.

Next, Fillion posted a photo of maps, charts, journals and a magnifying glass. If that’s not Uncharted-like, we don’t know what is.

Fillion could be teasing any number of Uncharted properties, but we’re putting our money on an inclusion in the planned feature film. That said, it’d be some kind of amazing poetic justice if Fillion ends up taking on the role of Nathan Drake in an upcoming Uncharted game; after all, we believe that Drake’s normal voice actor, Nolan North, will be taking over duties on Destiny 2 from Fillion.

We’ll have more on this Uncharted project as it’s made available.
