Mortal Kombat 11’s Kombat League starts this week

Mortal Kombat 11 will add the Kombat League to its offerings within the next day or so, developer NetherRealm has recently confirmed.

The announcement was made by way of a trailer, below, but we’ll happily recap the situation for you. Kombat League’s first season will run for four weeks and tasks fighters to battle one another in an attempt to elevate themselves up nine ranked tiers. All players will start as an Apprentice and are attempting to become an Elder God.

Kombat League will offer exclusive rewards when a new ranking is achieved alongside the opportunity to complete daily or seasonal challenges. Kombat League’s first season is called the “Season of Blood” and is scheduled to begin tomorrow, 19 June, here in Australia.

Published by Warner Bros., Mortal Kombat 11 is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
