Mortal Kombat 11 Switch co-developed by Shiver

Mortal Kombat 11 Switch will be co-developed by Shiver Entertainment, NetherRealm has confirmed.

“The end product is actually really fantastic,” Trevor Traub, the game’s producer, told GameRevolution. “It’s being developed by Shiver… They’re developing it at the same time as us so it’s sort of a co-development. There is no lead SKU.”

Shiver Entertainment began in 2012 and has previously developed Scribblenauts Showdown on Switch.

Alongside the news was the confirmation Mortal Kombat 11 on Switch will release in May, a month later than its cousins on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Mortal Kombat 11 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 23 April, followed by a Switch release in May.
