Monster Hunter World on Xbox One has matchmaking issues

Monster Hunter World Xbox One matchmaking issues have been acknowledged by Capcom.

At present, Hunters on Xbox One are unable to access matchmaking or SOS Flares, huge pieces of group functionality.

Capcom acknowledged the issue via Twitter, saying “we’re aware of the Xbox matchmaking issues and dev team is actively investigating it, we’ll update you as soon as we can.”

While online lobby functionality doesn’t work at present, Hunters can will send direct invitations to play with friends (or potentially, randoms they’ve just met).

Monster Hunter: World is available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. We reviewed it here.
