Monster Hunter Rise pose bug could lock your save file

Be careful!

A new Monster Hunter Rise pose bug could lock unlucky players from their save files, Capcom has confirmed.

The bug can crop up when players access two pose DLC gestures — Action or Hurt — from the action bar and then quit out of the game. Said players have discovered they’re unable to load their save after this occurs.

“We’re aware of an issue with the Action/Hurt Pose DLC gestures where setting either to the action bar and quitting the game can cause an error preventing you from opening the same save file the next time you launch the game,” Capcom tweeted from the franchise’s official account, promising it is working on a fix as quickly as possible.

Despite the bug, we found the Switch title to be quite engaging, with Matt sayingRise could be a good jumping-on point to give the franchise another try” if you were disappointed with Monster Hunter‘s past clunkiness.

Monster Hunter Rise is currently available on Nintendo Switch.
