Mojang wants to make Minecraft cross-platform

Speaking with IGN, Mojang CEO Jonas Martensson revealed the developer’s intent to have Minecraft running cross-platform.

Martensson said that the code for Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition allows for an Xbox One controller, touchscreen or keyboard and mouse, meaning it’s the first step towards cross-platform play.

We’ll see if the Microsoft-owned Mojang plans to include Minecraft on PlayStation to the potential cross-play mix.
