MOGA Gaming Clip the first in the Designed for Xbox line

The MOGA Gaming Clip is the first peripheral in the newly announced Designed for Xbox line, Microsoft today detailed.

The gaming clip, shown above, is a device that will physically connect your Xbox One controller to your smartphone (not to be confused by the Bluetooth connection that actually pairs the devices together), perfect for those streaming Xbox games to their phones as part of the ongoing Project xCloud trial.

“Soon there will be a wide array of Xbox-branded partner devices that are focused on mobile gaming – think controller clips, mobile-first controllers, and other hardware optimized for phones and tablets,” a post on Xbox Wire reads. “We are working on a roadmap of products with experienced partners and are currently in talks with 8bitDo, Gamevice, HORI, PowerA, Razer, and more, to explore creating the best possible hardware experiences for Project xCloud.”

The MOGA Gamin Clip will be available from November in the US and the UK — no word yet on when it will grace the Australian storefront. The clip is priced at $14.99 USD.
