Minecraft: Story Mode marks the franchise’s first entry on Wii U

The Wii U is set to get a Minecraft game. But not as you’d expect.

Minecraft: Story Mode is being developed by Telltale Games, in partnership with Mojang.

The game will put players in the shoes of an in-universe character named Jesse, voiced by Patton Oswalt. Jesse and his friends are tasked to track down the Order of the Stone, a group who’ve defeated the powerful Ender Dragon.

In addition to Wii U, Minecraft: Story Mode will also be released on Windows PC, Mac, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The episodic series will debut this year.
