Minecraft PS4 cross-play is finally here in the form of the game’s free, unifed Bedrock Version.

“Starting tomorrow, Minecraft players on the PlayStation 4 Edition will begin updating to the unified Bedrock version of Minecraft,” Microsoft and Mojang advised. “This means that cross-platform play will be active across Xbox One, Windows 10, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android mobile devices, Gear VR and now PS4.”

PS4 players will also have their purchases and progress carry across platforms, it was also confirmed.

Minecraft is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS, Android and Gear VR. The Bedrock Version on PS4 is a free update.
