Microsoft will wait until E3 2017 to fully unveil Project Scorpio

Microsoft will wait until E3 2017 to fully unveil its upcoming console, Project Scorpio, Xbox’s Phil Spencer recently confirmed.

“I’m proud of the progress made with Project Scorpio and what it will mean for the creators who fuel the passion of gamers around the world,” Spencer wrote on Xbox Wire. “We’re excited to unveil Project Scorpio and the amazing game experiences it powers at E3 this June.”

Recently, Microsoft made the console’s innards available to Digital Foundry, who confirmed the console’s specs and, more importantly, its ability to hit native 4K.

Stevivor recently compared Project Scorpio’s specs to that of the Xbox One S and PS4 Pro.

E3 runs over 14-16 June at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California, USA. Microsoft’s press conference takes place at 7.00 am AEST on 12 June.
