Microsoft shutting down Xbox 360 XNA Creator’s Club, Live Indie Service

Microsoft today confirmed it will soon be shutting down its Xbox 360 XNA Creator’s Club and the Xbox Live Indie Games service.

ID@Xbox boss Chris Charla said that current members of the programs will have until 9 September 2016 to complete their in-progress titles. New members to the programs will not be taken. Moreover, current members will be issued with a permanent Windows Developer account.

Any XBLIG games will remain playable, so no need to worry about that.
