Microsoft offering $75 to select Xbox 360 owners in the USA, Canada and UK who upgrade to Xbox One

As part of a new Microsoft promotion, select Xbox 360 owners are being offered $75 to upgrade to Xbox One.

Users took to NeoGAF after the following message began appearing on select Xbox 360 dashboards:

It’s unclear at this stage how eligibility for this promotion has been defined, nor which regions can take advantage of the offer. From the NeoGAF post, we see American and Canadian users with access to this deal.

We’ve asked Xbox Australia for more information on this matter.

Update: Bad news for Aussies and Kiwis, unfortunately.

An Xbox Australia representative responded to our query, saying, “this short-term promotion is offered to select Xbox fans in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. We are always looking for opportunities to bring promotions like this to our customers, but we have nothing further to share at this time.”
