Microsoft offering $15 credit to those who buy Halo: The Master Chief collection in December, much to early adopters’ chagrin

The latest Xbox Live Rewards offering isn’t going down well with early Halo: The Master Chief Collection adopters.

Gamers who purchase Halo: The Master Chief Collection in December and possess an Xbox Live Rewards accounts will receive 15,000 points, equal to around $15 USD credit, for doing so.

While it’s a sweet deal for those who haven’t purchased the problematic game, those who’ve already bought the title are crying foul. The Master Chief Collection‘s multiplayer is still undergoing issues, with another patch soon be released in the hopes of rectifying problems.

A number of gamers who purchased the game in November, as compiled my MP1st, have successfully lobbied for a credit anyways. If you’re upset, maybe you can try the same.

Developer 343 has promised to “make this right with fans”, so maybe there are other surprises in store for Halo early adopters.

More information on the credit can be found here.
