Microsoft: We’re not making a dedicated handheld gaming device

Xbox Head Phil Spencer took to Twitter yesterday to answer the question of whether or not Microsoft is developing a dedicated handheld gaming device, much like Sony’s PS Vita.

The answer probably isn’t the one you were hoping for, Xbox fans.

You heard it here, folks. The best you can hope for is a WP8 or Surface tablet with proper controller support.

Do you enjoy gaming experiences on a Windows Phone or Surface, or would you rather a DS or Vita-like Xbox platform?
