Metal Gear Survive release date set for February 2018

The Metal Gear Survive release date has been set by Konami: late February 2018.

Heading to North America on 20 February and Europe and Australia on 22 Febuary, Konami also detailed pre-order bonuses in a tweet made earlier today.

The “Day One Survival Pack” bonus offers 4 gold-plated weapons, 2 additional gestures, 4 metallic survival scarves, a Boxman accessory, Mother Base nameplate and Kabuki face paint.

Metal Gear: Survive is a bit of a strange one. In it, soldiers are transported to another dimension occupied with zombie-like things with crystals for heads. Your mission is to (wait for it) survive. The game uses the same engine as Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, though creator Hideo Kojima jumped ship to make Death Stranding for Sony.

Expect Metal Gear: Survive on Xbox One and PS4 in late February 2018.
