Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Screamride now backwards compatible on Xbox One

Both Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Screamride are now backwards compatible on Xbox One.

The Xbox 360 games can be played on Xbox One in two ways: digital purchases can be downloaded in the Xbox One’s My Games & Apps section, while physical discs need only be inserted in an Xbox One to begin the download process.

In our original review of Screamride — also available on Xbox One — we called two-thirds of the game “pretty damn awesome.” Those with a creative side will find the remaining third — track creation — enjoyable as well.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance also scored highly in our original review. “If Metal Gear Solid is about stealth with a bit of combat, Metal Gear Rising is about combat with a bit of stealth,” we wrote.  “The game feels like a Metal Gear one right from the get-go, and it’s not just because Raiden is front and centre.”

Both backwards compatible games are available now on Xbox One.
