Melbourne gets a PC Game Pass Gauntlet event later in March

Do you have what it takes?

Melbourne will get an in-person PC Game Pass Gauntlet event later in March, pitting a group of gamers against one and other.

The event will take place on 24 March at the CBD’s Fortress Melbourne (25/23 Caledonian Lane, as part of Emporium Melbourne).

Entry is free, and nibbles and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.

“Select Australian PC gamers who think they have what it takes to take the gauntlet home (yes, there will be a physical gauntlet trophy for the champ!) will face off against each other in mini-challenges where their skills will be put to the ultimate test,” Microsoft said in a press release.

“They will undertake a variety of challenges from PC Game Pass titles of different genres – all of which will be a surprise until the day.”

While it’s (obviously) unclear what the challenges will be, Microsoft has confirmed that contestants will take part in “live competitions in 5 mystery Xbox PC Game Pass games.”

If you’re keen to attend as a spectator or possible contestant, you’ll need to register for the event here.
