Mario Strikers Battle League coming 10 June to Switch

Get ready for some football (soccer?)!

Mario Strikers Battle League was today announced by Nintendo, heading to the Nintendo Switch on 10 June.

Another in the long-running soccer (or football) series, Battle League will offer play for up to eight players, both locally and online.

“Lace up your cleats & prepare to bring the heat in Mario Strikers: Battle League,” Nintendo said in a blurb accompanying a trailer, shown below.

“Fierce special shots, items, & tackles means there’s no rules except to rule the field! Play with up to 8 players locally & online, and even create your own club when Mario Strikers: Battle League launches on Nintendo Switch June 10th.”

We’ll have more on Mario Strikers Battle League as it becomes available. Until then, expect the title from 10 June.
