Man of Medan gets new chapter three years after release

And Supermassive has updated Little Hope too!

The Dark Pictures Anthology Man of Medan has received a new chapter three years after its release. The update is part of a larger one also applied to Little Hope by developer Supermassive Games.

The updates will bring the older titles more in line with changes made to House of Ashes and the upcoming The Devil in Me.

Here’s what’s been added to PC, Xbox One and PS4 versions of both titles:

  • New difficulty settings & QTE warnings
  • Improved UI & interactions
  • Updated bearing art & event triggers
  • Increased walking speeds
  • More accessibility options, including subtitle sizing
  • Additional Bonus for Man of Medan: discover a previously unseen chapter called  “Flooded”, introducing new gameplay and new deaths to the climatic ending of the game.

We’re big fans of Supermassive and The Dark Pictures Anthology. We reviewed Man of Medan here, reviewed Little Hope here, previewed House of Ashes here, and previewed The Devil in Me right here.

The Devil in Me heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 on 18 November 2022.
