Lost Odyssey troll: Microsoft says the free game was merely “a test”

Looks like we’re not getting Lost Odyssey for free after all.

Turns out, the “download an Avatar shirt, get a backwards compatible game” system was a test that wasn’t meant to be shared around the internet.

Wario64, the Twitter user who made the internet aware of the promotion, also helped to quell it.
