Lollipop Chainsaw Repop delayed to 2024

You'll need to wait a little longer...

The Lollipop Chainsaw remake has officially been renamed Lollipop Chainsaw Repop… and has been delayed into 2024.

Confirmed mid-2022 and planned for a 2023 release, the title is in development by Dragami after it purchased the IP from Kadokawa Games.

“It has been some time since players have not been able to access the game on current consoles,” Dragami’s Yoshimi Yasuda said at the time.

“We, the original development staff on Lollipop Chainsaw, think of the game as very precious to us, and did not want to leave it in limbo, where players who want to play it cannot.”

Expect Lollipop Chainsaw Repop in 2024; we’ll have more on it as it becomes available. The original was first released on Xbox 360 and PS3 way back in 2012; we reviewed it here.
