Light of Motiram sure looks like a Horizon copy

Tencent's Polaris Quest is doubling down.

Light of Motiram has been announced by Tencent and developer Polaris Quest and is already drawing criticism for looking like a Horizon clone.

“In a world overrun by colossal machines, explore the vast open world, build your base of operations, advance technology, train Mechanimals, and take on formidable bosses,” the pair said of their new title. “Starting from the primitive age, forge a new path of development. Defy the machination, survive with mechanimals.”

Take a look at the game’s announcement trailer below.

One point of difference between Light of Motiram and Horizon is that this new title will have co-op support for up to 10 players.

Light of Motiram doesn’t have a release date as yet, but is planned for Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West are available on PS4 and PS5.
