Last of Us multiplayer game will be standalone

A new Last of Us multiplayer game will be a standalone affair, Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann today revealed at Summer Game Fest.

Druckmann said the title is a “huge game” that will come complete with its own storyline and a new cast of characters.

The title will also be set in a new US city — any guesses to what that will be?

More information about the Last of Us multiplayer title will come later in this year, Druckmann also confirmed. In the meantime, a single piece of concept art is above.
