The Last Guardian, Wipeout: Omega Collection getting PSVR support

The Last Guardian and Wipeout: Omega Collection will be getting the PlayStation VR treatment.

First, Sony used its PlayStation Experience event to confirm a standalone VR experience for The Last Guardian. The title will let you interact with the gigantic beast Trico in what’s assumed to be a relatively short experience. The title does not enable VR within The Last Guardian itself.

Sony’s Wipeout: Omega Collection, on the other hand, will be receiving VR support, letting players experience the entire game in virtual reality. New ships and full 3D audio will be part of the game’s free VR update, expected in 2018.

Expect a demo of The Last Guardian VR experience on 12 December. We’ll let you know when proper release dates have been announced for both VR titles.
