Keeper is the latest from Psychonauts’ Double Fine

And it looks neat!

Keeper was announced today at Xbox’s Summer Game Fest livestream, and is the latest from Psychonauts developer, Double Fine.

The title is described by Microsoft as a “the beautiful, otherworldly third-person adventure” and is scheduled for a 17 October release on PC and Xbox.

“We encountered a Lighthouse that, after eons of standing dormant, falls to the ground, breaking into heaps of rubble, but then reassembles and stands up again on newly formed legs. It has awakened,” Microsoft said of the title.

“Yes folks that’s right, in Keeper you play a walking Lighthouse, able to shine a beam of bright light that affects the world around it, with a spirited seabird companion coming along for the ride,” Microsoft continued. “The trailer takes us on an epic adventure into a strange unknowable island, joining the Lighthouse on a journey toward the center of the island.”

Expect Keeper from 17 October on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and via Xbox Game Pass.
