Katana Zero has been classified R18+ in Australia

Katana Zero has been submitted to the Australian Classification Board and rated R18+, Devolver Digital today confirmed with Stevivor.

The title was previously submitted using an automated system via the International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) and was refused classification in the process. A proper resubmision has lead to a proper classification which cites high impact drug use amongst the game’s themes.

Devolver Digital’s told Stevivor that Katana Zero will be made available within Australia “around the end of the month.” We’ll keep you posted when that actually comes to pass.

Katana Zero was released elsewhere on 18 April across Windows PC, Mac and Switch. Good news for us Aussies today, eh?
