A Just Dance movie is in the works, so prepare yourselves

A Just Dance movie is in the works after Sony’s Screen Gems has successfully won the rights to the popular Ubisoft franchise.

As reported by Deadline, Screen Gems emerged victorious after “multiple studios competed for the rights deal.”

Ubisoft Film and Television will produce the film alongside Olive Bridge Entertainment. Jason Altman and Margaret Boykin will spearhead the project from Ubisoft Film and Television, with Jodi Hildebrand and Will Gluck acting for Olive Bridge. Over at Screen Gems, Eric Paquette and Brian Dukes will lead the charge.

Gluck has previously directed films like Friends With Benefits, Annie, Easy A and Peter Rabbit, but has not been attached as the director of Just Dance.

What do you reckon a Just Dance movie will be about?

The latest in the video game franchise is Just Dance 2019, now available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Wii, Wii U and Nintendo Switch.
