Insomniac’s Wolverine game gets a September release date

And we didn't need a State of Play to announce it.

Insomniac Games has taken to social media to detail the Marvel’s Wolverine release date: 15 September 2026.

The studio published the information alongside by a short video, merely saying, “Let’s cut to the chase: Marvel’s Wolverine launches September 15, 2026.” That video, of course, can be seen below.

“Become a living weapon. As he searches for answers about his past, Wolverine will do whatever it takes – unleashing brutal claw combat, violent rage, and relentless determination – to cut through the mystery of the man he used to be,” reads a longer description attached to the video on the Marvel Entertainment YouTube channel.

The video doesn’t offer much, but it does give us a look at the game’s key art, which can be seen at the top of this post.

Now, I guess, we wait.

Marvel’s Wolverine heads to PS5 on 15 September 2026. It’s made by Insomniac, the studio behind Marvel’s Spider-Man.
