Indiana Jones game coming from Wolfenstein’s MachineGames, Bethesda

Indy will be at the peak of his career, in-game.

An Indiana Jones game is in development by Wolfenstein‘s MachineGames, with Bethesda stalwart Todd Howard acting as Executive Producer.

“A new Indiana Jones game with an original story is in development from our studio, [MachineGames], and will be executive produced by Todd Howard, in collaboration with [Lucasfilm Games],” Bethesda today tweeted.

“It’ll be some time before we have more to reveal, but we’re very excited to share today’s news,” the tweet continued.

Moreover, it’s since been revealed that Howard teased the game as early as last November, placing Indiana Jones’ Ark and Idol in frame while speaking with The Game Awards’ Geoff Keighley.

“We’re developing a new Indiana Jones video game,” MachineGames itself tweeted. “As huge fans of the franchise, it’s a tremendous honor for us to create a brand-new Indiana Jones game with a completely original story.”

With Bethesda soon to be a Microsoft set of studios, it could stand to reason that Indiana Jones will be an Xbox and PC exclusive. This hasn’t been confirmed as yet by Bethesda, so we’ll keep you posted.

Are you excited about the prospect of a new Indiana Jones game?
